He was telling the Truth
This is what an open Roman Catholic authority had to say about Alberto Rivera and his works.
"In the 1970s [rivera] met Jack Chick, who publicized his story with much fanfare. It added immense amounts of detail (and implausibility) to Chick’s global Catholic conspiracy theory”. ONE MINUET NOW, what’s the definition of Conspiracy? Definition of Conspiracy: a plot to carry out some harmful or illegal act (especially a political plot). Okay, so why is it that people having open discussions about Catholic imperialists, and their harmful and illegal political endeavors is made to seem implausible? The Catholic authority continues "The Alberto series included some of the wildest claims found in Chick’s publications— (these claims are all backed by verifiable evidence)
that the Vatican started Islam (which is True), Communism (True), the Masons (True), and the Klan (True); that it controls the Illuminati (TRUE), the Mafia (True), and the New Age movement (correct); that it created the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, and is data basing the names of every Protestant church member for a future inquisition."

Okay, so these wild claims and so called allegations that the Catholic authority attempts to mock are in fact the exact Truth. I will provide you with many sources backing up every claim stated above (click here for a starting point). These truths are what the authority wants to keep undisclosed. On this website, I will give you reference supporting sources to back up the claims Alberto brings to light. As I got closer to The Creator YHVH and Yeshua Christ I was led to the truth about the World (we have many sources). Everything that this man has reveled has very real world importance in one form or another.
The very first thing that you should realize is that the Catholic website uses the exact same tactics that Rivera warned us readers to watch out for. In his Comic "Alberto", Rivera spells out the different techniques used to ruin a person’s name and personage. Evidence of him being a priest is not of the greatest importance to me, or to truth. The importance of the things that he shares is backed up by solid evidence. This properly correlates with his position as a prior high ranking individual in the Catholic Church regardless of his status. We do have evidence of his prior vocation, but it doesn’t even matter.
According to Rivera, The Techniques used against any Heretic (open Anti-Catholic non-conformist) are these that follow:
Rivera was asked by a compatriot "Is there a set plan for destroying a strong man of God who will not compromise or give in? And Rivera answered "Yes here are the three most important ways:
1. by Discrediting him
2. Isolating him (being abandoned by family friends or support)
3. Killing him by various means.
To discredit a man the authority may:
- Destroy his reputation by lying about him. Twisting something he said, making him look like an enemy of the country to get him in trouble with the officials.
- Frame him with a women (sexual abuse accusations), or the use of other sexually immoral traps.
- Accuse him of things like drug dealing to income tax evasion. (pg.24, Alberto, chick publishing)
The Website Uses Same Tactics
The most interesting part about this first step, is that on the same Catholic website, we see that the author says "Christianity Today further discovered "that not only was Rivera not a Jesuit priest, but also that he had two children during the time he claimed to be living a celibate life as a Jesuit." It explained: Although Rivera claims to have been raised and trained in a Spanish Jesuit seminary, his hometown friend, Bonilla, said Rivera was living at one point with a woman in Costa Rica named Carmen Lydia Torres."
Is this not an example of the exact sex ploy just discussed? Don’t forget that "Alberto" was published in 1979, so there is no way that Rivera could have predicted the future slander against his name unless it was a tactic.
Or what about this from the same source:
"In October 1967, Rivera went to work at the Church of God of Prophecy headquarters in Tennessee and began collecting money for a college in Tarrassa, Spain. When the Church of God of Prophecy wrote the college to ask if Rivera was authorized to receive donations for the college, it received a reply stating the college had given him a letter to collect funds only during the month of July. The college later discovered that while "he claimed to be a Catholic priest . . . he had never been one." The college reported that he left debts he had acquired in the name of the parish of San Lorenzo and that Spanish police were seeking him for "authentic swindles and cheats." Finally, they said that no funds had ever reached the college from Rivera. In a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice, Charles Hawkins of the Church of God of Prophecy said Rivera’s bank had contacted them because he had written a check on a closed account.
In 1969 two arrest warrants were issued for him in Florida. One was for the theft of a BankAmericard: The criminal division of the Bank of America reports that he charged over two thousand dollars on the credit card. The second warrant was issued for unauthorized use of an automobile. Rivera abandoned the vehicle in Seattle and went from there to southern California, where he started a number of organizations."
Sound like accusations of things like drug dealing to income tax evasion anyone? Lets continue, Rivera then goes on to say "when he [the opposer] proves his innocence, it’s too late. The news Media has already made him look guilty…after these acts the man in question is considered unreliable and branded as a liar and a thief" (pg. 24 Alberto) Interesting. Rivera then explains the second tactic.
Isolation:
- To isolate a man from his congregation a letter writing and whispering campaign gets started saying that the man is too controversial…or that he is a trouble maker.
- Those opposing his stand will call him an enemy causing division.
- They will say that he is against unity
- They may say he has a nervous breakdown so everything that he says is unreliable. (They used this tactic against Rivera as well)
Rivera than concludes with the third
Death the last resort:
- Rivera says when a man believes he has a special calling he WILL NOT compromise. When such a stance is revealed strange things begin to happen
- The man may be hit by a car in an accident, when he goes to the hospital some nurse may pull the plug on his oxygen, or there is a mix up in his medicine, from this he gets complications and dies.
- He can die of food poisoning, or be fed mind changing drugs making him mentally inadequate.
- He can be mysteriously knifed in the dark by a stranger.
- He can be assassinated by contract. (pg.34)
Years before his death Rivera even warns all about the type of death that he might have to suffer at the hands of his oppressor. In fact, reality backs up his words because he did die from a cancer that his wife had claimed was brought on by poisoning. More information about Mr. Rivera can be found here: http://www.spirituallysmart.com/alberto.html Watch his video for a broader understanding about what’s happening behind the scenes. *Note how many things he says that have actually come to pass, also don’t forget how old the video is and how accurate he was in his assumptions regarding coming events*
He is telling the truth. Propaganda follows the exact ploys he discussed. Believe what you want, but compare all things before making your decisions. In Christ.
